Frequently asked questions
What is the attendance formula?
Attendance % = present ÷ (present + absent) × 100. Absence % = absent ÷ (present + absent) × 100.
How is the “future classes needed” figure calculated?
It solves present + n ÷ total + n ≥ target for the smallest whole number n, assuming every future class is attended. The answer is rounded up to the next whole class.
What if the target is unreachable?
A 100% target is unreachable while any absence is on record, and a target at or below the current rate needs zero extra classes — the calculator tells you which case you're in.
Is attendance data stored?
No. Everything is calculated and discarded in your browser — no numbers are sent to a server or AI service.
